Career Resources

The Career Services assists all Illinois State University students and alumni with developing, evaluating, and implementing career decisions. They strive to provide career services and resources that enhance career development and readiness, while providing opportunities to connect with employers seeking Redbirds as candidates. The Career Services is located in 185 Student Services Building (see map here).

A wide variety of services including workshops, on-campus recruiting, company information sessions, career fairs (including an annual Veteran Seminar), resume preparation, complimentary business cards, and practice interviews are offered each semester. Military-connected students and alumni are encouraged to meet with a professional in the Career Services to discuss how their unique experiences can best be translated in the choice of an academic major and/or career path.
