University College is committed to the academic support of all students making transition in the University. Therefore, University College has designated one of our advisors as a specialist in supporting veterans.
If you can't find the answers you need through contacting your assigned advisor, please contact University College Academic Advising at (309) 438-7604. We will assist you in finding the resources and answers specific to veterans.
If you have 24 or more earned hours and are currently in a declared major, you are advised by your major school or department. If you have fewer than 24 earned hours, regardless of major, or are not in a declared major, you are advised by University College Academic Advisement. To find out whom your University College advisor is, please call (309) 438-7604.
First year honors students are advised through the Honors Program. After their first year, honors students are then advised by their major department/school advisor. All students enrolled in Student Support Services are advised by an SSS advisor, regardless of major or hours.
